How does the ticket queueing system work?

Last updated on July 2, 2025

For popular events, CloudJoi uses a virtual queue powered by Queue-it to ensure a fair and secure ticketing experience.

Here's how it works:

  1. Before ticket sales start
The organiser sets the queue start time and sale time. For example, queueing might open at 8:30 AM while ticket sales start at 10:00 AM. This info will be shown on the event page.

  2. Join the pre-queue
When queueing opens, go to cloudjoi.com, click the event poster or the “Get Tickets” button to enter the pre-queue. You’ll see a countdown timer.

  3. When ticket sales begin
Once the countdown ends and the sale starts, the system randomly assigns queue positions to everyone in the pre-queue. This gives all early visitors a fair shot at tickets—regardless of how fast they clicked.

  4. After that, it’s first come, first served
Anyone who joins after the sale begins will be placed at the end of the queue, in first-in, first-out (FIFO) order.

  5. Your turn to buy
When it’s your turn, you’ll be automatically redirected to the event page to complete your purchase. No need to refresh—the system will guide you.

💡 Why use Queue-it?
This system helps protect against bots, avoids server crashes during high demand, and gives all genuine users a fair chance.
